It was all I could do not to buy them - I just didn't have the budget for it. Was hard to walk away.

take care!mango.fReakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07219732602967458597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8014657663157219557.post-41074015495402262912007-08-31T00:27:00.001+01:002007-08-31T00:27:00.001+01:00No offense taken. There is a complete mango universe to explore.

Did you, btw, see this? http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/hss/395012357.htmlUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04650428660909307461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8014657663157219557.post-30272827301823504922007-08-30T04:06:00.000+01:002007-08-30T04:06:00.000+01:00Coffee beans? Thank you.

That post was very much tongue-in-cheek. I'm also a poet so my imagination kicked in and one thought lead to another. Nothing personal.

And thanks for the explanation behind the name - I really should have read that bit - duh! I get your reasoning behind it now.

We have dried ones but I'm yet to come across the low-sugar variety. Would be interesting to try - taste what the difference is.

Thanks for passing by.

take care...

mango.FReakmango.fReakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07219732602967458597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8014657663157219557.post-12765737362664253822007-08-30T03:45:00.000+01:002007-08-30T03:45:00.000+01:00Hey, steady now. The origin of the name, as I tried to explain, comes from a certain kind of literature (love stories set in India or the Carribean) where exotic feelings are conjured up in the reader with the help of mangoes ("her breasts were like swelling mangoes ..." or whatnot). I want to write about East Asia where I live but I don't want to do it in this cheap style. I don't want there to be too many mangoes.

As for the fruit rather than the exotic symbol, I'm all for it. I had some dried mangoes from Thailand yesterday. They have a new low sugar version now which is really great.

yours ever,Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04650428660909307461noreply@blogger.com
